Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. Half the World Away - by the Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two notable covers that the artist has done. Her name was also recognized via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding an attic piano and being fascinated by the sound it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than a profession. To achieve this, she began writing new compositions. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favourite writers. When her mother told her that the songs she composed might not make her famous however, but to encourage individuals to recognize their own value and impact on our world at large, she began performing them publicly. The piano was her first instrument when she was six years old and started writing music at age nine. This was not known by her family until she was fourteen. Aurora never dreamed of being a famous singer. The singer says that she simply likes writing music. For her, music is the best method to experience anything.
