Asha received the Fulbright award for constitutional reform research in Bogota Columbia, Colombia after graduating with honors from Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. She earned her law qualification in the year 2000 from Yale Law School where she was a Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law and served as a law clerk to the Honourable Juan R. Torruella on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in San Juan Puerto Rico. She was admitted into both the State Bar of New York and Connecticut in 2003. Asha has written op-eds for The New York Times The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post among others and is presently a legal editor to ABC News. Asha is also an officer on Just Security's board of directors, as well as members of the Council of Foreign Relations.
